Q. What happened with Yoshi ?
A. Yoshi ep put on permanent hold, regrettably. just couldn\'t get Arianne to come round and sing 3 songs.
Q. What are you working on now ?
A. Working on um...3 other projects plus a fair bit of MTB journalism. 2 of the 3 projects will be finished soon, within a month definitely
Q. When's the EP out ?
A. Worked on it yesterday, it\'s inching forward. Dunno when exactly though.
Q. Where else would you like to visit ?
A. I\'d love to see the Gobi desert. Chile. Iceland.
Q. Gig plans in the United Kingdom?
A. No plans for a December gig. plans change however and it seems things can happen quite quickly.
Q. What do you think of the Live DVD ?
A. I\'ve seen bits of the Marquee DVD, rest of the band have and love it. I was v. impressed since I usually hate live stuff of ours.
Q. Favourite stuff to record ?
A. Fave album Perverse...or maybe Already. fave song to record ...I\'ll keep thinking..I can\'t remember recording Zeroes. Obviously I did but...Remember working on Already vers. 1 for ages, and vers 2 was spent mostly writing to magz....Remember recording and alt version of RHRN in a diff. studio.
Q. Do you rent a studio ?
A. No studio rental ! Mind you, I remix for cash !
Q. Do you want to be famous again ?
A. I\'ve been famous and I\'m very happy with that. No wish to ever be so again, it didn\'t suit me.
Q. Do people still recognise you ?
A. N o one stops me these days and life is so much happier for that.
Q. What guitars do you have currently ?
A. Guitars : a Gretsch Malcolm Young Signature, a Fender Tele, two Hotei guitars, unsure of models, a Yamaha acoustic and a cherap and nasty bass of some sort - Handslicer, I think.
Q. What are you listening to just now ?
A. Listening to : Dizzee Rascal, Grandaddy, UK Garage radio shows, Four Tet, magazine CDs - Jockey Slut and Muzik.
Q. Why don't you release songs as you finish them ?
A. Releasing a song whenever you\'re ready works but it\'s hard for a record co to make an promotional event of song # 4 this year by the same artist. An album represents a promotional opportunity more than a single.
Q. What do the new songs sound like ?
A. Hmmmm, hmmmm, hmmmmm, HMMM ! (Humming)
